Back in 2004, when I was just 23, I stood up for natural hairstylists in Arizona, breaking down barriers that restricted their work without formal cosmetology training.
 
By 2006, I had launched Rare Essence Studio, which not only won accolades and competitions but also emerged as the top natural hair studio worldwide.
 
Today, my legacy isn't just about setting style trends. It's about fostering growth, celebrating natural beauty, imparting knowledge to aspiring , stylists and truly transforming lives, one loc, braid, and twist at a time.
